About YLA Art:

Through long-term exploration of my synesthesia and the boundaries that define perception, my work explores a simple yet profound insight:

Any object exists in a kind of dual state. It is both a distinct item and a space containing other items. What appears to be an object and what appears to be the space around it aren’t separate on the fundamental level — they are expressions of the same underlying phenomenon happening simultaneously.

The separation we see is a result of how reality manifests through different degrees of density. But when we look beneath that manifested layer, we find that everything is made of potential. In this deeper structure of reality — where the Creator is not outside the world but is the totality of existence itself — the distinctions dissolve. The object, the space, and the system connecting them are all pure potential.

My art is designed to help people perceive this subtle reality. Each piece acts as a map — a visual tool for practicing a different way of seeing. Through my paintings and the ideas I discuss in my podcast, I guide people to experience the everyday world in terms of forms, structures, and relationships that reveal how the distinctions we perceive are emergent rather than fundamental.

All of these ideas can be supported and explained mathematically.

I also work within a stream of highly intricate psychedelic music, and one of the core aspects of my work is translating sound into visual form. My paintings give shape to complex sonic structures, allowing people to see patterns and relationships that exist beyond ordinary perception.
